Uzbekistan Duty Free Allowances
All arriving passengers and tourists to Uzbekistan are permitted an allowance of goods free of duty and taxes (duty free allowances).Most international arrivals will be through Tashkent International Airport (TAS) the main international airport of Uzbekistan and the largest airport in Central Asia.
The following goods may be imported into Uzbekistan exempt from duty by visitors over 16 years of age.Tobacco
1000 cigarettes or 1 kg of tobacco products.
2 litres of beer and 2 litres of other alcoholic spirits.
Two bottle of Eau de Toilette or perfume.
Personal and private effects including clothes and toiletries are permitted by all passengers up to the value of USD 1000 or equivalent. However, effects and goods from Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan are to have a maximum value of only USD 10.
Jewellery (5 items made from precious stone/metals and 0.5 kg of other jewellery), cameras, mobile telephone/cell phone and laptop computers are also permitted and must be entered on the Customs declaration form on arrival. These must accompany you on departure.
These include, but are not limited to any narcotics/drugs, printed material including photographs directed against Uzbekistan, any arms/ammunition and large quantities of personal medicines and/or medical equipment without the relevant Uzbekistan government permits.Remember to always check before you travel.
