Personal allowances for Thailand are:
- 200 Cigarettes or 500 grams of rolling tobacco to include cigars.
- 1 Litre of alcoholic spirits.
- Private and personnel possessions for your own use with a value not exceeding 10,000 (Ten Thousand) Thai BAHT, provided none are either restricted or banned items.
Thai Customs allows all passengers this allowance provided they are individual passport holders. However, our advice to families travelling with children who have their own passports is to not have them take advantage of the alcohol and tobacco allowances if they are under 18 years of age.
