Seychelles Duty Free Allowances
Arriving passengers to the Seychelles are permitted the following effects free of duty and taxes.This allowance covers all passengers, but only those of 18 years of age or older may claim allowances on tobacco and alcohol.
Allowances apply at all international sea ports and airports including Seychelles International Airport (SEZ) or Aéroport de la pointe Larue on Mahé.
200 Cigaretts OR 250 grams of rolling/pipe tobacco or the equivalent in cigars/cheroots.
2 litres of beer and wine the alcoholic volume (abv) of which must be 16% or below.
2 litres of “hard spirits” with a volume greater than 16%abv.
A maximum 200ml of perfume or eau de toilette.
Private and personnel effects for your own use during your stay are also exempt from duty. These must be items of a non-commercial nature and accompany you when you leave.
Adult passengers (18 years of age or older) are permitted goods to the value of 5000SCR and travellers under 18 are allowed a value of 3000SCR.The currency of the Seychelles is the Seychelles rupee or SCR. Sometimes abbreviated to SR or SRe.
