Mongolia Duty Free Allowances

All arriving tourists and passenger must fill in a customs declaration form on arrival. This form must be completed in full and retained to be shown on departure.This form contains details of all personal and private effect you are bringing in, and when presented on departure allows you take back such effects free of duty and taxes. All passengers under the age of 16 must list their items on their parents, guardians or accompanying adults customs declaration form.
Individual Duty Free Allowances are:
200 Cigarettes and 50 Cigars and 250 grams of rolling/pipe tobacco.
2 Litres of wine and 1 Litre of alcoholic spirit and 3 litres of beer.
Accompanied personal items and effects are permitted to be brought in up to the value of $1000.00 (one thousand US Dollars). Items and effects must be for your own personal use and not be of a commercial nature.
Personal and private effects must not include any publication either in written, digital or printed form that contain material critical of Mongolia.
Remember to check before you travel as duty free allowances can change, sometimes with little or no notice.
