Dutch Airline Carriers – Cabin Baggage Regulations
Here is our comparison guide to carry-on baggage allowances for the major airline and low cost carriers based in the Netherlands. These allowances cover cabin-on and hand baggage only, and apply to the individual airline. For those flying with code-share partners the rules of the respective partner apply.
ArkeFly Airlines Cabin Baggage Allowances
The carry-on baggage rules for ArkeFly passengers is the same for both Economy and Premium/Comfort Class ticket holders.
The maximum weight must not exceed 7 kg, and the size must be a maximum of 50x35x30 cm.
In addition travellers are allowed duty free items (bagged in clear plastic), reading material, umberella/walking stick and a laptop.

KLM Cabin Baggage Allowances
The KLM baggage allowance will be dependant on the type of ticket/class you are flying.
Economy Class: 1 bag, maximum 55x25x35 cm (to include wheels and external pockets) and not exceeding 12kg.
Business Class: 1 bag, maximum 55x25x35 cm (to include wheels and external pockets) and not exceeding 18kg.
Both classes, however, are allowed to bring 1 further item eg. handbag, briefcase or notebook/laptop.
Current exceptions: World Business Class travellers on flights from India may only carry one item of hand baggage, the other must be checked – but will be free of charge.

KLM Cityhopper Cabin Baggage Allowances
The cabin baggage policy for those flying on the KLM Cityhopper service are identical to those of its parent carrier KLM.
However, flights operated by KLM Cityhopper have limited storage space, so your carry-on bags may have to be checked as hold luggage. Please ask when you check-in.
Transavia Airlines Cabin Baggage Allowances
For passengers flying with Transavia the cabin baggage allowance is 1 piece, which must include items such as laptops and duty free purchases.
The maximum dimensions allowed are 55x35x25 cm and it must not exceed 10 kg.
Any item larger will need to be checked as hold luggage.
