Bagabook – the practical, stylish & fashionable way to read
Susan & Basil founders of Bagabook, are about to launch their latest design under license with the British Library.
On trend a World Map with a difference this 17th Century four-hemisphere world map was created by Frederik de wit and published in 1668. The material is printed in the UK on Satin/Cotton giving it a luxurious feel, an inside pocket will carry a card with photo and brief history about the map.
This will be the first of many designs that will be taken from the vast archives of the British Library. Businesses can take the opportunity to have exclusive designs to complement their products and the curators of the BL will be available to show their collections by appointment.
Bagabook was designed out of personal need, when Susan was a full time commuter into London, her books became dog eared and she found fellow commuters curious about her read, also taking her book in & out of her bag left her personal belongings vulnerable to theft of loss. Susan searched the market place for something that would suit all her needs, but to no avail “Hence Bagabook was born” Since its launch in 2010 it has appealed to a vast array of retailers worldwide and they have a sole distributor for Australia & New Zealand.

This innovative book bag has been cleverly designed to fit a wide range of books up to A5 size and of various thicknesses. With an attached bookmark, penholder inside pocket for ticket/swipe card all securely held together with a magnetic clasp. Some of their ranges have a discreet back pocket to carry a mobile phone & small personal belongings.
Embracing technology they have designed both the Kindle/Kobo & iPad ranges with some of their trademark features.
